Declaration of Earth Fare

In February 2011, our CEO Jack Murphy drafted and signed a document that will go down in Earth Fare history. Each store received a copy to be displayed with every team member's signature. The Declaration of Earth Fare made its public debut, and it was a game changer.

Since being introduced last year, the Declaration has been the framework on which we build everything. The Declaration of Earth Fare now informs our practices, our standards, our customer service policies, and the way we treat one another. In short, our Declaration is truly what makes us different from everyone else.

Compared to other famous Declarations (we're looking at you, Thomas Jefferson), Earth Fare's is fairly brief. And yet each of its tenets is a big deal. Put them all together, and you have the backbone for the way we do business.
